Axeze controllers are virtually the smallest in the world yet the offer all the functionality you expect from an access controller. Each Controller is individually addressable, with offline functionality. The greatest benefit with this system is perhaps, if a controller goes offline, only one reader will go offline, the rest of the system will keep working, and the Axeze Studio software will let you know which Controller is offline.

The ACR122U NFC Reader is a PC-linked contactless smart card reader/writer developed based on the 13.56 MHz Contactless (RFID) Technology. Compliant with the ISO/IEC18092 standard for Near Field Communication (NFC), it supports not only Mifare® and ISO 14443 A and B cards but also all four types of NFC tags. ACR122U is compliant with both CCID and PC/SC. Thus, it is a plug-and-play USB device allowing interoperability with different devices and applications. With an access speed of up to 424 kbps and a full USB speed of up to 12 Mbps, ACR122U can also read and write more quickly and efficiently. The proximity operating distance of ACR122U is up to 5 cm, depending on the type of contactless tag in use. In order to increase the security level, ACR122U can be integrated with an ISO 7816-3 SAM slot. Furthermore, the ACR122U NFC Reader is available in module form, permitting easy integration into bigger machines, such as POS terminals, physical access systems and vending machines. The ACR122U NFC Reader is ideal for both secure personal identity verification and online micro-payment transactions. Other applications of the ACR122U include access control, e-payment, e-ticketing for events and mass transit, toll road fare collection and network authentication. The ACR122U comes with an optional stand to hold the smart card reader at an optimal angle, so that users can tap contactless cards or NFC-enabled devices onto the ACR122U with ease.

Moxa’s embedded device servers can be used to convert a standard serial interface to an Ethernet enabled device. Sixteen Channel Digital Input-Output Unit – KEN-IO2


The KEN-IO2 is a Sixteen Channel Digital Input-Output unit specifically designed for the lift and alarm interfacing with the Axeze KEN Access Control System. It has 8 opto-coupled inputs and 8 relay output channels. The unit is controlled by the standard Axeze Studio (AS). Axeze Studio allows the user to create event handlers that react to changes of the input channel status and to set, clear or pulse the relay outputs. With Axeze Studio the input channels can be connected to visitor buttons in suites to enable lift access to the suite floor. A delay after the button is pressed allows time for the guest to enter lift. A select period is then enabled to allow the guest to select a floor. Both periods are programmable at the host console. The KEN-IO can also be controlled by interfaces such as the Universal Interface (AUI) or the C-Bus interface. The automatic security bypass option causes the unit to set all outputs should connection be lost with the host PC for more than 100 seconds. This allows lifts to automatically operate in the “security off” mode. With version 4.2 the response time to output change commands has been reduced to under 200mSec.
Door Controller – KEN-OLW2


The KEN-OLW2 is a powerful single door controller with full off-line functionality, which is managed by the Axeze Studio (AS) web enabled software over our Virtual Private Network. Any standard 26/34-bit Wiegand reader can be connected to the KEN-OLW2. The sounder is active high which may not suit all readers. The KEN-OLW controls the strike and manages inputs from door sense and REX switches. The KEN-OLW2 Real Time Clock (RTC) will remain accurate for at least 24 hours after a power failure. With Axeze controllers you can network several KEN-OLW Controllers to one network or have one controller per network. One controller per network means the system has virtually unlimited expandability and it is totally modular. Add one controller to one network at any time. The Controllers are possibly the smallest controllers in the world and if one controller breaks down for any reason, only one reader is affected and client can be advised of this within minutes of the breakdown by email message to their laptop, tablet or phone.
