AUI Universal Interface

AUI-01

The Universal Interface (AUI) is used by the Axeze Network Controllers to maintain up-to-date time while in the offline mode.

While in the offline mode the AUI also listens to network traffic for event notifications such as Forced door, Authorised Access Request and Door closed for events which match the handlers down loaded to the AUI.

The Network Monitoring Software (NMS) enables the AUI to be programmed to respond to broad events such as a forced door anywhere on a network or more detailed events such as the Cardholder named Peter Authorised at Front Door. These Events can trigger the AUI to send commands to I/O units on the Axeze Network to interface into other systems such as CCTV or alarm panels.

An Axeze CLipsal Interface (ACI ) has been developed to integrate with Clipsal's CBus energy management systems.

Options

The C-Bus Interface (ACI) is an extension of the Universal Interface, which listens to the Axeze network traffic and uses the C-Bus Access Control Protocol to notify the C-Bus network of the occurrence of an Access Control Event. Alternatively if C-Bus Access Control enabled products are not fitted to the system, the AUI can also be programmed from KENMon to send C-Bus application commands on the occurrence of an Axeze Network Event.
