KEN-IO Network Input Output Board

KEN-IO2 PCB Assembly

The KEN-IO is a Sixteen Channel Digital Input-Output unit specifically designed for low level interfaces between the KEN system and such things as lifts, alarm panels and CCTV.

Using the KEN-IO unit external inputs can be wired to trigger internal events in the NMS software, or re-routed to set or clear outputs of other I/Os.

The reverse is also possible where internal events such as time events, Card Authorisation, door left open, etc can be set up to set or clear outputs on the I/O.

For example the input channels can be connected to visitor buttons in suites to enable lift access to the suite floor.
