KES & KEN in the home

A client in Bayview, NT diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa lost almost 70% of his vision. Opening locks and doors with keys was most difficult because he could not manage to put them in keyholes. Even walking upstairs and footpaths became so complicated. Life became so hard for him, until he bought the KEN and KES system.

One of the first things he did was to move out his two-story home and into a single level home. The second thing he did was install Axeze Keyless Entry System. It has been a brilliant boost to his independence. Where he used to fumble for the keys, then use his hands to find the keyhole and spend ages inserting the key, he now only waves a tag in front of the door or the gate and the doors are unlocked. Axeze keyless entry system was installed to all doors and gates in his properties. The best part of it all was one tag allows him access to all doors that have the Axeze system fitted.

He had a KEN network system installed into his home because he had cleaners and other assistants come to his house, and he likes to know what time they arrived. He also likes to know that these assistants cannot gain entry into his home at other times, and if they do, he has a record of that attempt. The KEN system logs all the events and users that gain access to the doors.

He used the KES standalone system for the garage and storerooms and front gate. It was easy to add and remove tags into system so he keeps spares around so that he can issue these to visitors.

He really appreciates the fact that such product can make his life a little more independent. He likes its affordability and flexibility, as a total package. The KEN and KES system helped him regain his confidence and made his life more convenient.
